Blog 6- Final CAD drawings.

CAD is not only used for the construction part of design, it is a really useful tool for showing material. It puts your design into a realistic perspective. For example, in the kitchen, CAD was my most important tool when it came to measuring out kitchen cabinets and the width of the appliances. As I cannot visit the site just now, it is crucial that I still complete the refurbishment accurately through CAD with the measurements I took at the site visit, before lockdown. When it came do my CAD drawings, I realised the importance of a site visit and how it is para-mount that you take the time to get every dimension in the room.

I used photoshop to develop all of my CAD drawings. The use of materials allow the client to identify the room- all the work comes together and has a real flow to it. They feel like they are walking through the designing and planning stage, right through to the construction stage.
