About me

Why I am writing this blog?

My name is Anna and I am third year, Interior and Spatial Design Student at Edinburgh Napier University. I am currently taking on a work-based placement with KBA Design Studio Ltd- a Glasgow based studio who specialise in design and architectural visualisations.

My placement will take place over a 12-week period, 5 days a week. This placement will allow me to put my skills into practice. I will work as part of a team to face challenges head on. I will document my whole experience which will allow me to reflect on these amazing opportunities.

Thus far, I have learnt a huge amount of skills from University and the amazing lecturers who have taught us, but I am eager to get out into ‘real-life’ situations. I think this will provide me with a better understanding of my role as an interior and spatial designer but will also build my confidence as a designer and ability to undertake my own projects.
